Chianti is
without a doubt one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany.
Splendid hills, vineyards as far as the eye can see, ancient villages, castles,
churches and breathtaking views characterize it in an unmistakable way. If you have your own means of transport you can easily venture into Chianti on
your own, you can see a lot of things even with a normal car.
For example, if you type “The road of the Chianti Castles” into Google, a page will appear
with 6 different itineraries to travel by car or possibly even on foot (for trekking
lovers). But if you
want to visit places that are difficult to reach without an adequate means of
transport and want to rely on the experience of a local guide, then this is the
tour for you.
This activity is proposed by Andrea and it’s strongly suggested for anyone who
wants to see the Tuscan hills from a unique point of view. Two hours of driving
on dirt and hidden roads will take you to discover incredible places. And of
course, during the excursion, Andrea will tell you stories and anecdotes of the
places you will see.
If you wish, during the tour it is also possible to make an optional stop for a
tasting of locally produced wine. It is also possible to organize a full-day tour
with lunch and wine tasting at a local family-run farm. If you want to add one
of these options, please ask Andrea for more information.
